different disciplines of social sciences like Archaeology, Anthropology (Physical, Social and Cultural),

Comparative Literature, Cultural Studies, Economics, Education, Folklore and Culture, Gender Studies, History,
International Relations, Linguistics, Museology, Sociology and others. Chinese Studies in relation to
Indology is viewed emphatically. The research programs of the society
integrally serve the interest of the nation in particular and of the humanity at large.
